Looking for a high protein green smoothie? This is my favorite.  This protein green smoothie is inspired by a recipe I made a while ago for Pure Goodness on Instagram. I’ve been making the smoothie non-stop since then, so I thought I should share it on the blog as well! I don’t believe that we need protein powder every day to attain our protein needs. Simply eat nuts, seeds, legumes and other high protein foods every day and you can easily meet your needs. However, I love using protein powder in smoothies when I eat them as a meal. I’m aware that it’s been only two weeks since my last post, but it feels like forever. I’m a dietitian.  I still can’t believe it. I started my job Monday and it still doesn’t feel real. In case you missed it (this post), I just finished my internship and I started working as a dietitian in oncology, psychiatry, cardiology and surgery at the hospital. The first week was all about orientation, but I’m excited to start working by myself next week!  Other exciting news that you may have missed: we’re moving in our new apartment shortly! My Go-To Avocado Toasts + Exciting News!

In 3 weeks, I’ll be working as a clinical dietitian! I got selected to work in cardiology, oncology and surgery in the largest hospital/cardiac center of the province. I’ll be working 4 days a week and I won’t have internship or university projects anymore, which means I’ll be able to spend more time testing out new recipes. I’m so excited for this next step! I’m finishing my internship 2 weeks early and I’ll finally be able to start my career as a dietitian. 5 years of hard work pays off! I still have 2 weeks to go and 2 big projects to finish, which means I have no time to waste. Some meals have helped get me through my last 5 years as a student…
