How-To: Date Caramel

Hi there! I know it’s the weekend, but with my dietetic internship and all, I didn’t get the chance to post anything this week. So here I am, writing a blog post on a Saturday morning! Now, since autumn is coming, I have many salted caramel recipes in mind. For that reason, I wanted to share my date caramel recipe with you guys. Trust me, you’ll see date caramel in my next couple of posts! I hope that’s not a problem? 😉  Date caramel is a life saver when you rely on fruits to sweeten your desserts. I have a recipe using cold brew ice cubes that I’d like to share with you guys soon, but first, I want to show you how to make cold brew. Trust me, after you learn how to make it, the possibilities are endless! Think lattes, iced coffee, smoothies… Are you convinced yet? First of all, what is cold brew coffee? It’s ground coffee beans soaked for a long period of time in cold water and then filtered without having to brew the coffee. It’s less acidic and smoother than regular coffee and it lasts longer when stored in the fridge. It’s great for…
