My favorite way to cook steel-cut oats: In the Instant Pot. Guys, I recently started making steel-cut oatmeal in the Instant pot and it’s life-changing. I know it sounds a bit extreme, but the reality is, it makes it possible to eat steel-cut oats during the week. Cooking steel cut oats on the stove top does take more time than rolled oats, which is why I don’t cook them often.
