Chocolate Pretzel Quinoa Bars

Happy Friday! I’m sharing some delicious and easy granola bars today (the perfect recipe to make this weekend!). That’s what I did last weekend and I think I’ll do the same this Sunday. If I have enough ingredients in my pantry… I’ve been surviving on what I have in the freezer and in my pantry for almost 2 weeks now, so it’s all getting pretty empty. I thought it would be a good idea to use up what I have before buying anything else. It’s a great way to save money and to get creative in the kitchen! I’ve been coming up with very weird recipes that where surprisingly good… I made a pasta sauce using soy milk, tapioca starch, garlic, margarine, cheese, salt…

4-Ingredient Chocolate Nice Cream Smoothie

This smoothie. I know that not everyone has a food processor or a Yonanas, so I wanted to make a blender version of my Chocolate Peanut Butter Soft Serve (Nice Cream). You get the same great taste as nice cream, but in the form of a smoothie. Okay, I should maybe call this recipe a shake because it tastes nothing close to a healthy and fruity smoothie… Nope, this recipe tastes exactly like a chocolate milkshake. I should mention that even though it doesn’t taste healthy, this shake/smoothie is as healthy as it gets.  It’s made with only four ingredients (FOUR)! I used frozen bananas as a base (just like in my nice cream), which gives you a sweet, creamy ice cream-like shake. I then added some cocoa powder and nut butter…

Chocolate Orange Fudge Cake (With a Secret Ingredient!)

Are you getting tired of desserts yet? I know I am. But before we get into all the healthy January recipes, I wanted to share one last sweet treat with you guys! I promise, it’s SO worth it. And it’s a great dessert for any New Years Eve party. This will be our dessert for sure! <— We’re having an introvert party at home, eating fancy pasta with cake and wine while playing board games. Yup, that’s my kind of party. Hah! All I have to say is that this has to be the healthiest cake ever. The secret ingredient? Sweet potatoes! It’s also made with dates, olive oil, coconut and almond milk, cocoa powder, cashews, spelt flour, orange juice… Not only…

Rudolph Nutella Donuts & Other Healthy Holiday Desserts

Happy Christmas Eve Eve! Here it is, a compilation of all my holiday desserts! I hope you find some inspiration for last-minute Christmas treats or even last-minute gifts?! Suggestion: fill a beautiful box with a loaf of pumpkin bread, truffles and cut-out cookies, then add a gift card for your friend/relative’s favorite restaurant! You could even add a copy of your favorite cookbook in there. It’s the ultimate foodie gift.  Now enjoy these Christmas desserts, plus a new recipe at the end. 🙂 Easy Holiday Truffles I posted these truffles earlier this week and they’re the perfect addition to your holiday feast! They’re probably the healthiest and easiest truffles you’ll ever find. They’re made from only 3 ingredients, then rolled in beet powder, coconut…

Easy Holiday Truffles

I hope these festive Easy Holiday Truffles make your Monday a little better.  It’s the last Monday before Christmas (!!) and I’m sharing yet another holiday dessert. I’m getting a little carried away with all the Christmas treats. For a while I didn’t think it was going to be possible to continue sharing one recipe every week on this blog… In the last two weeks I’ve been sharing two and this week I’m sharing three! I’m not sure how I’ll be able to do it. Especially since this week is my last week of internship before Christmas vacation and I have a big evaluation to finish for tomorrow. That’s what I did all weekend. I did take Saturday night off…
