How many times do you test your recipes?

I test every recipe at least 2-3 times, often more. The first few times are often spent perfecting the recipe. Once I’m satisfied with the result, I make it once more to time and photograph (I sometimes need to photograph it a few times before I like the photos). Making it several times ensures that the recipe works well. When possible, I also try to test the recipe with a few changes to accommodate allergies, especially when making desserts using nuts.

Do you have the nutrition facts for this recipe?

Unfortunately, I don’t at the moment. Although I don’t encourage counting calories and macros, I do understand that nutrition facts are helpful in making healthy decisions for your needs. I also work with diabetics, so I understand how difficult it can be not knowing the amount of carbs in a recipe! It’s something I hope to add to the blog soon.

Why didn’t the recipe work for me?

I’m not sure, but I would love to help you find out! Sometimes it’s a matter of using different quality ingredients or equipment. For example, my peppermint mocha may not work as well with a weak blender. I try to add as many helpful tips in each recipe, but let me know if you have any questions regarding a recipe!

Can I request a specific recipe?

Yes! If you have any recipes you’d like to see on the blog, please let me know. I’ll take all of your suggestions into consideration and hopefully I’ll be able to come up with something.
