Spiced Banana Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

April is a month full of celebrations for us, so it only made sense that I shared my favorite cake recipe: This spiced banana cake with cream cheese frosting. This recipe is inspired by Snixy Kitchen’s banana date cake, which I made for the first time last April. I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. Making winter days a little better with this warm turmeric ginger milk. Not only is it warm and comforting, but this milk’s bright color is such a happy sight on a cloudy day like this one.  We’re expecting rain for the next couple of days, which makes me crave spring even more. I usually love winter, but this one has been dreadful. We were basically stuck inside from the end of December to the beginning of January due to the extreme cold temperatures. I would have shared these healthy peanut butter crunch balls with you sooner, but the truth is, I didn’t have any photos to go with the recipe. Today, I’m happy to be sharing a delicious holiday treat:  Pumpkin cupcakes with chai cream cheese frosting. Yes, I said CHAI cream cheese frosting. Here’s the thing. Most of the recipes you’ll find here are vegan/vegetarian, sweetened with fruit and made from unprocessed food. Sometimes though, we need to treat ourselves a bit.
