21 Ways to Eat More Vegetables

Is one of your goals this year to eat more vegetables? You’re not alone. I love vegetables, but I would be lying if I said I reach the recommended serving size every single day. Yes, I do reach that number most days, but not always. So today, I wanted to share some tips on how to sneak in some vegetables to your diet. Because let’s be real, most of us could eat a bit more vegetables. How many servings should you really be eating each day? The recommendation is a minimum of 5 portions. How I Feel Since I Stopped Eating Added Sugar

One of the questions I get asked most often is how I feel since I stopped eating added sugar. Other questions include: Why did I stop eating added sugar? Is it hard? Does it get easier? The only thing I don’t eat is red meat, which is a decision I made over 7 years ago. So, looking back on my vegan diet over the past month, I can truly say that I enjoyed it. I…

12 Healthy Goals for the New Year

I don’t believe that we need a New Year to make changes in our lives and become healthier, but I always love setting goals. If you know me, you know that I love making lists and I often make little monthly goals to stay on track. So despite the fact that I don’t believe in the “all or nothing” mindset that often comes with New Year’s resolutions, I love taking the opportunity to reflect on where I’m at and where I want to be in life. It’s a chance to look back on the past year, learn from your mistakes and move forward. This year, as usual, I have many ambitions. I wanted to share them with you in hopes that they inspire you. This is a list…
